So I’m again on a new project. Swing and everything around it - fixing bugs in a GUI application with thousands of screens is a tedious job. However I’ve found a good helper for Eclipse - the Swing Explorer. Helps browsing the swing compnent tree in runtime.

The best practice for writing applications introspectable with Swing Explorer is extending from Swing components, that way you can see exactly the application class, not just the stack trace of component generator.
